Counselling and Coaching Agreement and Terms of this Service
I aim to provide you with an opportunity to explore personal issues in a safe and caring space that supports solution finding and change.
These sessions are for you! You make the decisions about which goals are important to pursue, and what you would like to talk about. This work is collaborative and transparent, and I really want to help
I attend supervision regularly and abide by my professional code of ethics with focus on awareness and improving my counselling practice. My supervisor abides by the same codes of ethics as I do which includes confidentiality. What is said in our sessions is confidential with a few exceptions; if I believe you or someone else is at of serious risk of harm, I will need to let others know so that appropriate further support/advise/action can be made available.
Sessions will last between 50-60 minutes or between 80 and 90 minutes by agreement.
Calls (0276354503) and emails (gailheatherbh@gmail.com) will be responded to within normal business hours.
I do not offer an after-hours crisis service so if this is needed, please contact your GP, or phone or text 1737 to speak to a counsellor 24 hours a day.
Cancellations: I ask for 48 hours notice to any change or cancellation of appointment. Whilst I absolutely understand that circumstances arise where a late cancellation is necessary, I unfortunately cannot carry the loss to my income for all my clients misfortunes. A cancellation fee will apply.
